The Campus Mart is an intra-campus e-commerce android application. The app was built as a platform to sell and buy used or unused products within any campus or institution. Developed as an academic project, the application has quite a lot of functionalities and a minimalistic UI inspired by the native Android UI.
The team consisted of four programmers. I was the team lead and the lead programmer for the application. My responsibilities included front-end programming (Java for features, XML for UI ) and back-end programming ( PhP for server side scripting and MySQL for database). I also worked on the user interface design from visual prototyping to completion.
Campus Mart won 2nd Prize in Android @ Play, an android application development competition held as a part of Annual CSI Regional Student Convention, conducted at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology.
