A 2D naval online multiplayer game for android. You play either as a pirate or a privateer to defend your base and destroy enemy bases. Ride the waves and wreck you enemies to gain money and upgrade your ship. Developed as an academic requirement for ' Game Development : Advanced Programming' program at Sheridan College. Unity, Photoshop and Audacity were used develop the game. Photon plugin was used for multiplayer and Google Service API for social media integration.
I was responsible for the artificial intelligence, network, and miscellaneous gameplay programming like the implementation of the game loop and game state. Artificial intelligence was implemented using steering behaviour and network programming was implemented using Photon Plugin for Unity. I was also responsible for the UI design and 2D art of the game.
